"As I entered The French Bistro in Truro I couldn't help but think of a scene in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds set in a cosy, atmospheric Second World War French cafe/bar.
This fantastic little restaurant – quite unique on Cornwall's dining scene – has the same early 20th century Gallic charm; you can almost smell the Gauloises and I'm sure I spotted a collaborator or two."

Every second and last Tuesday of the month is Film & Supper club
The River Room is a spacious room, situated upstairs, with beautiful views of Truro Cathedral and River. It is available for private hire, at no cost.
